Clinic Nurse

Iowa Digestive Disease Center is in need of an experienced clinic nurse to support clinic operations. This individual will be responsible for coordination of patient and physician schedules, implementation of orders, and patient education.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Licensed RN; CPR and ACLS Experience: Minimum of one year experience. Job skills and requirements:

  • Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language are required
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be able to triage and schedule patients
  • Must be skilled in patient population age-based competencies to include patient attention spans, comprehension skills, psychosocial needs, hearing and sight limitations

Coding/Billing Specialist

The Iowa Digestive Disease Center is seeking a qualified Medical Coding/Billing Specialist for a large specialty practice in Clive, Iowa. Qualified candidates will have knowledge of medical practice coding and billing processes, preferably with GI experience. This individual will be responsible for charge and payment entry, electronic claims management, and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: A high school diploma is required, CPC or other coding certification preferred. Experience: Knowledge of medical practice coding and billing processes, preferably with GI experience. Typing with ten key as well as experience with Excel and other computer applications required. Job Skills and Requirements:

  • Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language are required
  • Must have knowledge of and ability to perform basic medical office coding and billing processes
  • Must have working knowledge of medical office and surgical activities and procedures
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions, work independently and productively with minimal supervision
  • CPC or other coding certification preferred

Infusion Coordinator

The Iowa Digestive Disease Center is seeking a full-time Infusion Coordinator to work in our Clive office. This individual will complete prior authorizations, assist patients in utilizing external resources to fund treatment plans, code and work infusion charges and denials, and be a main contact for our infusion patients. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Complete prior authorizations and/or pre-determinations for drug therapies
  • Tracks expiration dates of current authorizations and completes renewals in a timely manner
  • Notification and education of patients regarding outstanding claims/bills
  • Research and maintain a working knowledge of patient financial assistance programs, educate and assist patients in applying for available programs
  • Assist with completion of patient forms
  • Maintain knowledge of current insurance plans

The successful candidate must demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times. The qualified individual will be focused, confident, self-driven, and possess excelled communication skills. He or she must work well with team members and be comfortable speaking with patients about outstanding balances.

Pre-employment background check required.

Seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or equally qualified individual to work 40 hours/week.

Experience: Prior Authorization or Case Management experience preferred.

Endoscopy Technician

The Iowa Endoscopy Center is seeking a qualified Endoscopy Technician for a large Endoscopy Center in Clive, Iowa.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: A high school diploma is required. Job Skills and Requirements:

  • Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language are required.
  • Must have knowledge and ability to perform general duties in a busy medical office/surgery center.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions, work independently and productively with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, be well coordinated and able to move freely.
  • Dexterity necessary. Visual and audio acuity as need for job performance. Speak clearly and distinctly. Neat, clean and particular about appearance.
