Maria Steele, ARNP
Maria Steele, ARNP has over 35 years of nursing experience and has been a nurse practitioner for the past 13 years. She is licensed as an ARNP in the State of Iowa. And has been practicing in Central Iowa since 2001 with a special interest in hepatology and liver disease.
Ms. Steele decided to focus on GI/Hepatology as a specialty area because of the ability to educate patients on their specific issues and to make a positive difference in her patient’s lives.
Born and raised in Granger, Iowa she attended the University of Iowa where she received a Master of Science in nursing degree.
Ms. Steele is honored to have joined the medical team at Iowa Digestive Disease Center as it provides her the opportunity to apply her knowledge and skills in the treatment of patients. Her hobbies include bike riding, traveling, quilting and craft projects.
